This Privacy Policy explains how PREG-TECH COMMUNICATIONS LTD collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal information when you use the iSnow mobile application. iSnow is an application for managing savings and credit cooperative ("SACCO") and investment club activities, including contributions, loans, fines, expenses, and shared documents.
By creating an account or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
We only collect information needed to run your investment club or SACCO. We do not collect your location, contacts, photos library, or advertising identifiers.
The App is offline-first. Some of your data is cached locally on your device (using secure app storage) so you can view it without a connection. This data stays on your device and is removed when you log out or uninstall the App.
We use your information to:
Legal basis (Uganda Data Protection and Privacy Act, 2019): we process your data on the basis of your consent, the performance of our service to you, and our legitimate interest in operating and securing the App. Financial records may also be processed to meet legal and record-keeping obligations.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.

We require all service providers to protect your data and use it only for the purposes we specify.
Your data is stored and processed on servers operated for us at account.isnowsolutions.com. Where data is transferred or processed outside Uganda (for example by Google's Firebase infrastructure), we take reasonable steps to ensure it receives an adequate level of protection consistent with applicable law.
We keep your personal and financial data for as long as your account is active and for as long as necessary to provide the service and to meet legal, accounting, and record-keeping requirements. Financial transaction records may be retained for a longer period as required by law. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it. You may request deletion of your account (see Section 8).

The App is intended for adults who are members of a SACCO or investment club. It is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.
We use Firebase Cloud Messaging to send notifications relevant to your club activity. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings; core App features will continue to work.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where changes are significant, notify you within the App. Your continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
